 Chicken rolls with liquid dough wrappers are a delicious and popular dish, especially during the month of Ramadan. Here's a recipe you can follow to make these rolls:



Ingredients:

  • For liquid dough:
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • Salt to taste
  • For filling:
    • 1 pound ground chicken
    • 1 onion, finely chopped
    • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
    • Salt to taste
    • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, egg, milk, and salt to make the liquid dough. Mix until smooth.

  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped onion, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

  4. Take a spoonful of the liquid dough and pour it into the hot oil in a circular motion to make a thin wrapper. Fry until golden brown on both sides, then remove and place on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Repeat this step to make more wrappers.

  5. Take one wrapper at a time and place a spoonful of the chicken filling in the center. Roll the wrapper around the filling to form a tight roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

  6. Once all the rolls are made, fry them in hot oil until golden brown on all sides. Remove and place on a paper towel.

  7. Serve the chicken rolls hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
