Chicken rolls with liquid dough wrappers are a delicious and popular dish, especially during the month of Ramadan. Here's a recipe you can follow to make these rolls:
Ingredients:
- For liquid dough:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt to taste
- For filling:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, egg, milk, and salt to make the liquid dough. Mix until smooth.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped onion, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Take a spoonful of the liquid dough and pour it into the hot oil in a circular motion to make a thin wrapper. Fry until golden brown on both sides, then remove and place on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Repeat this step to make more wrappers.
Take one wrapper at a time and place a spoonful of the chicken filling in the center. Roll the wrapper around the filling to form a tight roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
Once all the rolls are made, fry them in hot oil until golden brown on all sides. Remove and place on a paper towel.
Serve the chicken rolls hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
