BEEF PULAO
Asalamalikum
Today we're going to make very delicious, soft, moist, and juicy Beef Pulao
And we're also going to make Yoghurt Raita
Both of these are very nice combinations, Raita and Pulao
So... Let's Get Started!
INGREDIENTS:
Beef 2kg
Rice. 3 cups
Cooking oil 4 big spoons or 200mls
Salt. 2tbsf
Red Chilly powder 1/2 tbsp.
Cumin seeds 1 and a 1/2 tbsp
Black pepper whole 1 and a 1/2tbsf
Bay leaves. 2
Star anise 2
Big black cardamom 2
Cinnamon stick 1 inch
Garlic 1 whole
Onion. 1 medium to large size
Green chilly. 2
So, for this, we got 2-kilo beef and we have cut it into thick pieces
We have not removed all the fat from the pieces, We have left some fat still behind
And in the cooker, we put enough water that all the beef becomes sad
And in the spices we have...
2 spoons of salt
Half a spoon of red chili, 1/2 spoon of cumin seeds, 1/2 spoon of black pepper
2 curry leaves, 2 stars, 2 large cardamoms, 1 cinnamon stick piece, and 1 whole garlic.
So these are the spices we have
And over here is our Rice
So this is 3 cups of rice
This cup, 3 cups filled with rice
2 green chilies we will use, and we have this rice right now we soaked it
so that our soup is ready for the pulao, so in the meanwhile, our rice will become soft
And here we have medium to large-sized onion
We have to cut it into thinly sized slices
So, Let's start I have turned on the stove
So this Beef and water we're going to add all the spices and whole garlic
So, we're going to mix it 1 time
So all the spices will be mixed
And now we will put the lid and cook for 8 to 10 whistles, you can see before your cooker how much time the beef will cook
The chicken will take 6 whistles, but the beef will take 8 to 10 whistles
So in the meanwhile our beef is cooking we washed and soaked our rice and so our medium to large sized onion we have thinly sliced it
And this is our raita stuff
Here we have a small-sized onion we have also thinly sliced, and a small tomato we also cut it
Here we have a little green coriander and 3 to 4 green chilies
We also thinly sliced that
We have yogurt as well
We will mix it into that
So, Let's Start preparing our raita!
First of all, In a big bowl, we added all the vegetables that we have cut before
And now we will add the yogurt
Half a kilo of yogurt have
We will add it in
Half Kilo yogurt I have added
Also in this, we will add approximately half a spoon of salt
And black pepper fresh cut black pepper
as for your preference, you can add cut cumin seeds, but my kids don't eat cumin seeds so that's why I'm not adding cumin seeds
Cut cumin seeds are very enjoyable as well!
And now we will thoroughly mix it
A very refreshing and very delicious aroma is coming from the Raita
A little bit more I will add black pepper because it felt a little to me
Mixing it
And see, Our Raita is fully prepared
We'll put it aside for now
We have the Raita aside now we will take a look at our meat it has been cooking for quite a while now approximately it has been 8 to 10 whistles in the pressure cooker
We'll open the lid
Meat has been cooked
A very nice aroma is coming from the masala, whole spices, and the beef
so the whole garlic we have here we're going to press it with the spoon
And take out the garlic and the skin will be remaining
We'll take out the skin and throw it
All the garlic has come out and the skin is remaining, we're going to throw it in the dustbin
And in a big pot, clear big pot approximately 3 to 4 cooking spoons of cooking oil
And the medium to large sized onion we have thinly sliced we'll add it in
Meanwhile, while the onion is frying we separated the meat from the soup
This is our beef
We'll put the beef and soup aside for now and check on our onions
These are our onions frying and when their edges are golden, we don't have to make it too brown and don't fry it too much
So when their edges are golden we're going to add the beef that we have separated from the oil we'll add it here
And we're going to fry it with the onions
4 to 5 minutes we'll go to fry it
When the nice aroma comes out
While speaking the aroma started to come we'll add the spices
These are the additional spices which contain: 1/2 spoon of cumin seeds, 1/2 spoon of black pepper, 2 stars, 1 small cinnamon stick piece
We have added this so that additional aroma will be added
So when the masala's aroma will come we will add the soup
So we have tried the masala and meat very nicely and a very beautiful aroma is coming
So now we have added the oil, which we have 3 cup rice, so then we have 6 cups exactly soup added
And now we have to put the lid on and cook it for 10 to 12 minutes so, that the soup will be nicely boiled.
And when this boils
We'll add the rice that we have soaked It has been 15 to 20 minutes that we have left this rice soaked
So we'll add it
1 time we'll thoroughly mix it
Rice has been mixed
We'll put the lid on we don't have to open it full we have to leave it half open
After putting a half lid on medium flame we will cook for 8 to 10 minutes
It has been 8 to 10 minutes since we have taken off the lid
I have seen 2 times so, that the water will not get too dry
And for the green chilies, I had I broke 2 with my hands and added them
Now we'll mix it a little
Now it has some water in the rice the water is not dried and the rice is cooked yet
We have mixed the green chilies
we'll put the lid and again cook it for 5 minutes
We'll put the flame medium to low because there's still water inside
Don't turn the flame too low otherwise the rice will be too tender
It's been 4-5 minutes
And I have opened the lid
All the water from the rice has been dried
There's absolutely no water left
And the aroma that's coming from the green chilies is so refreshing
Finally, I have again put the lid on for 4 to minutes on a very low flame
So that the rice will be thoroughly cooked and the rice is completely cooked
Very beautiful, soft, moist, and juicy which I have told you from the start the Beef Pulao is Ready!
So finally we'll give it a last gentle mix and we'll bring it out on the serving dish
