chana chaat recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups boiled chickpeas (chana)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Sev (crispy fried noodles) for garnishing
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled chickpeas, chopped onion, tomato, and green chili.
- Add roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, red chili powder, and salt to the bowl.
- Mix everything well and then add fresh coriander leaves.
- Drizzle lemon juice over the mixture and toss everything to combine.
- Transfer the chana chaat to a serving dish and sprinkle some sev on top for garnishing.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Chana Chaat!
Note: You can adjust the spices and lemon juice according to your taste preference. You can also add other ingredients such as boiled potato, cucumber, or pomegranate seeds to this recipe to make it more interesting.
