Honey and Peanut Rolls Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 240 g of roasted peanuts
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon of rose water
- 300g of honey
- 200 g of phyllo dough
- sesame as needed
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Crush the roasted peanuts in a food processor until they are finely chopped.
In a mixing bowl, mix the crushed peanuts, honey, melted butter, and rose water until well combined.
Cut the phyllo dough into strips that are approximately 4 inches (10 cm) wide and 8 inches (20 cm) long.
Spoon a small amount of the peanut mixture onto one end of each phyllo strip and roll it up tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
Brush the tops of the rolls with a little bit of melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
In a saucepan, heat the honey over low heat until it becomes thin and runny.
Once the rolls are done, drizzle the warm honey over them and let them cool before serving.
For the 20-unit recipe, simply halve the ingredients and follow the same instructions. Enjoy your delicious Arabic dessert!
