 Korean Cheese Corn Dog:

  • Dough Ingredients:
  • 150g bread flour (can use plain flour)
  • 50g rice flour (can use plain flour)
  • 30g sugar
  • 4g salt
  • 4g instant dry yeast
  • 1 room-temperature egg (50g)
  • 100ml warm water

  • Ingredients:
  • 3 sausages (12cm)
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • 5 wooden skewers
  • Toppings:
  • Bread crumbs
  • 1 potato (145g) + 1 tbsp cornstarch (2 toppings)
  • Half instant ramen noodle (3 toppings)
  • Sugar
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Instructions:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, rice flour, sugar, salt, and instant dry yeast. Mix well.
  • Add the egg and warm water to the bowl. Mix the dough comes together and form a ball.
  • rest the dough for 10-15 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place until it doubles in size.
  • Once the dough has risen, divide it into 5 portions and roll each portion into a long strip.
  • Skewer the sausages on wooden skewers and wrap each sausage with mozzarella cheese.
  • Coat each sausage with one of the following toppings: bread crumbs, mashed potato mixed with cornstarch, or half of an instant ramen noodle brick.
  • Wrap each coated sausage with a strip of dough, making sure to cover it completely.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the corn dogs in the oil and fry until golden brown on all sides.
  • Remove from the oil.
  • Serve hot with ketchup and mustard on the side for dipping.
