Restaurant style Seekh Kabab Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pound ground lamb or beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, chopped
2 tablespoons ginger paste
2 tablespoons garlic paste
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon oil
Metal or bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, cilantro, mint, ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, salt, gram flour, and beaten egg and Mix well.
Divide the mixture into 6-8 equal portions and shape each portion into a long, cylindrical shape around the skewers.
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Brush the kababs with oil and place them on a greased baking sheet.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the kababs are cooked through and slightly browned.
If you prefer a charred exterior, you can also grill the kababs over a hot charcoal fire or on a gas grill.
Serve hot with chutney or yogurt dip.
