ingredients:

  • 240g bread flour
  • 160g milk
  • 30g sugar
  • 15g melted unsalted butter
  • 3g salt
  • 4g yeast
  • 10g squid ink
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • 15g room temperature unsalted butter
  • 5g sugar

To make the bread, you can follow these steps:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine bread flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add the milk, melted butter, and squid ink to the dry ingredients, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10-15 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the dough with a damp towel and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  6. Once the dough has risen, divide it into small pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  7. Flatten each ball and place a small piece of mozzarella cheese in the center.
  8. Fold the dough around the cheese and roll it into a ball again.
  9. Place the balls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
  10. In a small bowl, mix together the room temperature butter and sugar.
  11. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the risen dough balls.
  12. Bake the bread for about 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  13. Serve warm and enjoy!
