Indian chicken rice recipe.

And today I am here with a very delicious recipe for..
-In a bowl,add chicken,½ tbs of ground spices (reserve remaining for later use),tikka masala,salt, lemon juice,ginger garlic paste,mix well & set aside. -In a pot,add cooking oil,chicken & fry on medium flame from both sides until golden brown,cover & cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes then cut into pieces,sprinkle fresh coriander,cover & set aside. -In the same pot,add butter & let it melt. -Add star anise,cinnamon stick,bay leaves,dried plums & mix well. -Add onion & sauté until translucent. -Add green chilli paste,ginger garlic paste,mix well & cook for 2 minutes. -Add tomatoes,mix well & cook until tomatoes are soft. -Add yogurt,remaining ground spices,salt,black pepper crushed,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes. -Add water,mix well & bring it to boil. -Add soaked rice,mix well & cook on medium flame until water is reduced,cover with kitchen cloth & lid and steam cook on low flame for 12-15 minutes. -On a serving dish,add cooked rice & chicken pieces. -In a saucepan,add butter & let it melt. -Drizzle melted butter on serving dish & serve!
Spicy version: If you like your food spicy, you can increase the amount of green chili paste and black pepper in the recipe. You can also add some red chili powder or cayenne pepper to the spice mix for the chicken.
