recipe for Saucy Garlic Chicken Tenders that you can enjoy during Ramadan:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken tenders
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish





Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Coat the chicken tenders in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

  4. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken tenders and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken tenders from the skillet and set aside.

  5. Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the same skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant.

  6. Add the chicken broth, honey, soy sauce, ketchup, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Stir to combine.

  7. Return the chicken tenders to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them.

  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.

  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
